At the moment new singers may generally join the choir at the beginning of each new term of music (January, April, September, mid-October). This is especially important if you are new to choral singing. But if you are reading this outside of those start times please do complete the form as we will place you on the waiting list. We also encourage prospective members to visit a rehearsal and/or concert prior to joining the choir.

Singing with a new choir for the first time can be quite challenging. Hopefully the questions and answers on this page will help us to alleviate that feeling. Please answer all the questions as it will help us to help you to settle in to the choir quickly. A * indicates a required field.

How much does it cost?
Subscriptions are £3.50 per evening but we prefer to collect them half-termly or termly, whichever is easiest for you.

Is there a singing test?
The Singers now ask all new members to undertake a 'singing' test a few weeks after joining. This is to ensure that you are singing in the correct section of the choir and that you can 'hold a line'.

When and where do we practice?
The choir practice from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Monday evenings, during term time, in the main church of the United Reformed Church, Newport Pagnell, near Milton Keynes. Rehearsals recommence on Monday, 6th of January.
